MANAGEMENT & MAINTENANCE

We pride ourselves in the availability and accessibility of our management team! We are here to ensure your Elwood experience is as wonderful as possible with friendly team members ready to assist!

Elwood Apartments offers a team of maintenance professionals and an after-hours emergency maintenance line to call for emergencies. 

Our service technicians are able to provide assistance while you're enjoying life! You do not need to be present for your maintenance request to be addressed, but if you would prefer to be there, you're more than welcome.

We ask that all maintenance requests are submitted through your resident portal. If you need assistance completing this, our team is happy to help. 

If you find yourself locked out during business hours stop by our office, call our leasing team, or submit a help request online! If you are locked out after hours, you can contact a locksmith if necessary.

AMENITIES

Elwood offers multiple parking options so your arrival home from an exciting day is even easier. Parking options include general, EV, and garages. 

At Elwood, you’ll enjoy amenities designed to support the lifestyle you love. Spend your Saturday morning reading a new book by the pool, or crush your fitness goals in our fully equipped fitness center. Need to stay productive while working from home? Our modern conference room is the perfect space to focus and get things done.

When it's time to unwind, gather around our cozy fire pits or enjoy a cup of your favorite brew from the on-site coffee bar. We haven't forgotten your furry friends either — our dedicated dog park ensures they enjoy the Elwood lifestyle right alongside you.

Elwood is proud to be a pet-friendly community! We know pets are family, which is why we offer a spacious dog park where you and your furry companion can burn off some energy before heading back home for some well-deserved snuggles.

We welcome up to two pets per home.

Pet rent: $25.00 per pet, per month

One-time pet fee: $400 for one pet, $500 for two pets

At Elwood, our apartments are here to help you do more of what you love. Cook in a kitchen complete with a range stove, dishwasher, microwave oven, and refrigerator. Elwood Apartments come unfurnished, but we would be happy to assist you and connect you with a recommended vendor like Court Furniture which provides furnishings at an additional cost.

ADMINISTRATIVE & LEASING

We aim to approve all applications within 72 hours. If you have questions about the status of your application, please call our leasing team!

Easily pay your rent through the resident portal! The online portal will accept payment by bank account, debit, or credit card. Contact our team if you have any questions about how to make a rent payment.

At Elwood, all residents are required to have renter's insurance. Please contact our leasing team to discuss the renter's insurance policy in more depth.

We offer internet service through Whitesky, and it’s already set up and ready to go in your apartment home!

If your situation changes, we offer buy-out options with a lease termination fee! When you need our assistance, please call our leasing team to discuss your options for leasing changes.

Elwood will provide utility set-up information upon moving into your new home!

At Elwood, residents are responsible for paying all utilities. You are able to pay your monthly water bill through our online portal for added convenience!

LOCATION & DIRECTIONS

We offer excellent locations for public transportation. Uber, Lyft, and well-known bus lines are right within reach at Elwood.

Great schooling and education are right around the corner as we are located in Union County School District.

Come visit us and find your new home! For easy directions from where you are, you can use our Google Business Profile or call our leasing team for additional directions.

Local shopping, dining, and entertainment surrounds the community, located just minutes away from the heart of Indian Trail.

When reviewing an application to rent at Elwood, we conduct a criminal background check, verify rental history, analyze credit history, and income-to-rent ratio. If you have questions about our application process, please contact our leasing team to speak with one of our friendly team members.

Applicants must have verifiable income equal or greater to three times (gross) the market rent. Guarantors must have original, verifiable income equal to or greater than five times (gross market rent).

Our system generates a risk vs credit score. Bankruptcies, judgments, and balance(s) owed to other management may cause an applicant to be denied.

You have picked a wonderful place for your first home! At Elwood, we are so excited to welcome you into our beautiful community with all the features you're sure to love.

Tour Elwood for free! Make sure to bring your valid government-issued ID to tour.

We accept both appointments and walk-ins. In order to get the full experience of Elwood apartments, schedule a tour to prevent any wait time and to ensure you can ask all the questions about your new home.

Your apartment will be prepped and ready for you to move in. We make sure your home is professionally cleaned, painted, and functioning properly so that when you move in, you're ready to relax at home.

Our community was built in 2021, so we are considered new construction with very little noise heard by neighbors.

We want our residents to make their space just like home. We ask upon move out that the unit is returned to exactly as it was upon move-in to prevent any fees.

At our apartments, residents will be responsible for paying monthly fees like utilities, internet, valet trash, pest control, and package locker.

Subletting and short-term rentals such as Airbnb, VRBO, etc. are strictly prohibited.

We want Elwood to be as peaceful for all our residents as possible! Building quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am. All of our community spaces are ready for your use without any charges!
